Oral Presentation of Research Findings


In the presentation, you will describe your research project procedures and your main findings. It should last fifteen minutes. PowerPoint should be used.

The presentation should involve the following components:

1. Discuss why you chose the topic and why you think it is important not only for you but also for others:
  • Research questions
  • Research objectives
  • Research hypothesis
  • Thesis statement

2. Describe the structure of your research report.

3. Describe the process of your research and your research instruments:
  • Explain why you chose these research instruments
  • Describe the type of information you were trying to collect
  • Explain what difficulties you faced
  • Tell what you were not able to find out and why
  • Explain what you learned from your research 

4. Overview your main findings:
  • Discuss what is important about your findings and how they are related to the students in your college
  • Mention what additional information may be needed on the topic.
  • State your recommendations.
